Six to ten weeks for Detroit. The presses cross the country by freight from our Fullerton shop and the crew flies in a day ahead, so shipping and the venue's load-in calendar set the timeline more than press time does.
What the weeks are for
- Freight: the station has to be packed and moving well ahead of your date. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice.
- Art and blanks: art is final about a week out, and the blank order locks around the same point. A headcount that keeps moving holds up a Detroit job more often than press availability does.
- Show weeks: when Huntington Place has a major show on, hotels, drayage and labor all get tight across Metro Detroit. Book early around those weeks.
- Winter dates: auto show season and the holiday party stretch fill first, so lean toward the ten-week end.
When the date is closer
Still ask. Simple art and standard blanks are what make a short run-up possible, and the answer depends on freight and crew. If you're planning a Huntington Place booth or an auto launch months ahead, even better, since we'll hold the date. Either way, send the date and headcount and we'll confirm availability within 24 hours.
