Downtown is where Detroit's biggest rooms are: Huntington Place on the riverfront, the hotel ballrooms around it, and the arenas and theatres of the District. That's where most of the auto show, expo and convention work in this city happens.
Conventions, hotels and corporate events. At Huntington Place the electrical is ordered through the venue and load-in runs on a marshalling schedule, so we plan the station around that window. Hotel ballrooms are simpler: a freight elevator and a circuit that isn't shared with catering.
Live printing in Downtown & Huntington Place
- Live screen printing: one logo on hundreds of shirts through a show day.
- Live DTF: full color and names for a sponsor lounge.
- Live hat bar: caps pressed to order in a hotel pre-function space.
- Promo & hard goods: totes that walk the exhibit hall all day.
Arena and theatre nights count as downtown too: Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, Ford Field, the Fox Theatre and The Fillmore Detroit. Planning nearby instead? See Corktown, Midtown, Eastern Market and Royal Oak & Ferndale.
Per station: roughly 10×10 ft of floor and two dedicated 120V circuits. On a show floor, order the power early.
Send the booth number or the ballroom, the date and a headcount, and the itemized quote comes back within 24 hours.
