Weddings and private parties in Detroit run from cocktail hour to send-off. A small station fits a Midtown ballroom, an Eastern Market event space or a backyard in Royal Oak, and guests leave with a favor they watched get made. The gear ships freight from Fullerton and the crew flies in a day early.
We do weddings, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs and milestone parties across Metro Detroit, with a styled station that matches the room. Guests pick a design, we print it, and it goes home on them.
Live t-shirt printing ideas for Detroit celebrations
- Wedding favors: the couple's monogram or the date on a tee, pressed during cocktail hour.
- Winter parties: crewnecks and beanies for a December or January date.
- Milestone birthdays and reunions: names and years on each shirt with live DTF.
- A hat bar: guests build their own cap at a hat bar in Detroit, and it photographs well.
Space and power for a live printing station at a Detroit reception
Plan on about 10×10 ft and two 120V/20A circuits per station. In a Midtown ballroom or a hotel downtown, that goes on the banquet order, and we'll need the dock and freight elevator times so the build is finished before cocktail hour. Lofts and event rooms in Corktown or around Eastern Market make great party spaces, but older buildings can have a narrow door and outlets on one shared circuit, so send us a photo of the panel. If it won't carry two presses, we run one press and a DTF lane. A backyard in Royal Oak or Ferndale means our quiet generator and a tent. A shirt takes about two minutes, so a two-press station does 100+ an hour and 150 guests get through in roughly 90 minutes with two or three designs on the menu. December and January dates lean on crewnecks and beanies, and the crew lands the day before because snow at DTW can ground a morning flight. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice.
